** What’s the Difference Between, PIAN, WAN, TANG, SAN, SHUI and GAO **
Chinese medicine comes in various forms.
PIAN = Tablet (modern looking pill or capsule)
WAN = Pill (old-style or handmade pill, or black teapill)
TANG = Water Decoction (boiled whole herbs)
SAN = Powder (milled or granulated)
SHUI = Tincture (extract with alcohol or other solvent)
GAO = Paste (topical unguent or plaster)

 * Compared to other brands of XIAO FENG WAN (Great Windkeeper, Eliminate Wind Pill),  ActiveHerb's extra-strength"Skin Windclear" is made from concentrated herbs, requiring a smaller dosage.  This also makes the Activeherb version a decidedly good value.
